MOVE BACK TO QUARTERLY
Our community has been suffering far too much as a result of the change.
Last night, I asked my fellow North Miami Beach Commissioners to give direction to the city manager to restore our water billing schedule back to quarterly and to immediately order a review of what our water costs are to justify the increase in our water bills.
I am thankful my motion passed. Our community has been suffering far too much as a result of the change.
I promised that when I became a commissioner I would fight for the quality of life of our residents and ensure the necessary oversight of our water system.
The next step is a public meeting where we will finalize going back to quarterly billing and hear from staff about what our water costs actually are. No one should expect an increase in their water bill without a good reason. Expect a meeting notice soon and join us on June 18th. Keep the faith and together NMB will move in the right direction.
